About Me

I'm Kian Pieters — a Cape Town-based photographer and videographer working across events, portraits, matric shoots, and brand content. Alongside local client work, I work as a real-time remote photo editor for the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, editing and delivering images live as matches unfold at international venues around the world. I've spent four years as the primary photographer for Durbanville High School, and most of my work is rooted in the Northern Suburbs — though I shoot across the Western Cape whenever the brief calls for it. MY APPROACH

Every shoot gets planned before I arrive. I know the location, I know the light, and I know what I'm trying to achieve before I press a single button. By the time we're on set, the only thing left to do is make it feel effortless for you.

If you've never had professional photos taken before — or you're not sure what to do in front of a camera — that's completely normal. I'll guide you through it. The best frames never happen when someone's trying too hard, and getting you to that point is part of the job.
